Annually, the Scholarship Fund of the Minneapolis Branch of AAUW offers four, four-year scholarships to young women graduating from any Minneapolis Public High School with a GPA of at least 3.0, a documented financial need, and with the goal of attaining a Baccalaureate degree at an accredited institution. Applicants should show demonstrated ability in college-level coursework (i.e. IB, AP, PSEO, CIS, etc.).In 2024, scholarship recipients will receive $4,000 annually. For Minnesota 4-H members or alumni who will be entering their freshman year at a school in the University of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System (Minnesota State) or University of Minnesota campus. There are three scholarships in the amount of $1,500 and are awarded annually.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better to qualify. Education was very important to Agnes and Leo Bauerly. Agnes and Leo grew up during a time when getting even a high school education was an achievement.  Agnes was able to attend high school and got her diploma by living in town with a family and was their housekeeper.
