A young person’s lifelong success begins with an education. Guided by our mission to encourage Minnesota’s youth of color to pursue post-secondary education, the Page Education Foundation promotes the academic achievement, personal responsibility, and untapped potential of Minnesota’s students of color to become vital contributors to their communities. Harlan and Jeraldean Palm are leaving a legacy in Minnesota’s manufacturing industry after many years and successes with Palm Industries and the multiple companies under it. For Minnesota 4-H members or alumni who will be entering their freshman year at a school in the University of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System (Minnesota State) or University of Minnesota campus. There are three scholarships in the amount of $1,500 and are awarded annually.  Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better to qualify. Selected recipients may re-apply annually, up to three times. A grade point average of 3.0 or above must be maintained in order for re-application to be approved. Education was very important to Agnes and Leo Bauerly. Agnes and Leo grew up during a time when getting even a high school education was an achievement.  Agnes was able to attend high school and got her diploma by living in town with a family and was their housekeeper.
