Lake County Farm Bureau Agricultural Scholarship

Introduction:
The Lake County Farm Bureau established its scholarship fund to help Lake County students finance education and training for careers in agriculture. Awards are made each year and consider academic performance, career objectives, participation in extracurricular activities, leadership experience, and a demonstrated commitment to studying agricultural subjects. The LCFB Scholarship is available to students who attend—or have graduated from—a Lake County high school and are enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational program pursuing an agricultural career.
Eligibility and General Requirements:
The following conditions apply to all Lake County Farm Bureau scholarships:
- Applicants must be current students of, or graduates from, a high school located in Lake County, California.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required.
- Scholarship funds may be used at any accredited college, university, or vocational school selected by the recipient.
- Recipients must submit proof of enrollment to the Lake County Farm Bureau before scholarship funds will be released.
- Applications that are incomplete or not postmarked by the published deadline will be removed from consideration. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all required forms are completed and submitted to the Farm Bureau office by the deadline.
