Purpose and background
Honoring a long-held directive of our Order to support the education of orphans, the family of Triffle P. and Annie G. Ivancovich provided a generous gift to create Davis Odd Fellows Charities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation. The organization administers a scholarship program aimed at orphans and young adults who were raised in the foster care system. Awards range from $5,000 to $10,000. Applicants from anywhere in the United States are eligible to apply, although there are strict qualification criteria detailed on the official forms.
Who may apply / eligibility
The scholarships are intended for orphans and for men and women who grew up in foster care. Specific eligibility requirements and any other qualifying standards are described on the application materials.
How to apply
Two forms are required to submit a candidate for consideration:
- A nomination form: any Odd Fellow or Rebekah may nominate a deserving individual.
- An application form: the student or candidate must complete this simple form.
Deadline
All materials must be received by June 1, 2026.
