Trademark Scholarship

Introduction
We recognize that many college students contend with burdens beyond tuition—high levels of debt as well as homelessness, food insecurity, and other severe hardships. Some applicants will also have overcome notable personal adversity. The Mandour & Associates, APC “What will be your Trademark?” Scholarship is intended to reduce financial obstacles so students can do more than just get by.
Award Details
Each year we grant one recipient $2,500 to be used for any costs connected to pursuing higher education, including but not limited to rent, groceries, clothing, textbooks, technology, tuition, or loan repayment. The scholarship will go to the student who best describes what their “trademark” will be—the legacy or defining quality they want to be known for at the end of their career.
Who May Apply
Eligible applicants include outgoing high school seniors as well as students currently enrolled in any of the following: community college, trade school, undergraduate university, graduate program, medical school, or law school.
Application Requirements and Deadline
- Deadline: Submit your materials by June 10, 2026.
- Materials required: a resume and an essay (500 words or fewer).
- Essay prompt: Explain what your “trademark” will be—what you want to be known for when your career is complete—and tell the story that illustrates why.
How to Submit
Email your application to mandour@mandourlaw.com with the subject line: Trademark Scholarship. Attach your resume as a single PDF file. Place your essay (500 words maximum) in the body of the email. Do not attach Word documents or any files other than the one PDF resume.
