Introduction
The Navigate Your Future Scholarship supports graduating high school students who intend to pursue careers within the aviation sector. NATF provides this scholarship to encourage and advance opportunities in the general aviation industry.
Eligibility
To be considered for the Navigate Your Future Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a senior in high school planning to pursue a career in general aviation.
- Be accepted to, or enrolled in, an aviation-related program at an accredited college or university.
- Provide the college or university’s letter of acceptance.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in a career in general aviation.
Award
One Navigate Your Future Scholarship is awarded each year. The recipient receives $2,500 to apply toward one year of full-time undergraduate study.
Application and Required Materials
Those who wish to apply must submit a completed application plus the following documents no later than the last Friday in June:
- Official high school transcript (uploaded)
- One letter of recommendation
- Letter of acceptance from the accredited college or university
- Personal statement addressing: career goals in general aviation, your education plan, flight training objectives, and at least two reasons why you should be selected for the scholarship

All materials submitted become the property of NATF. Submissions are treated as confidential and are reviewed only by the NATF screening committee and authorized NATF officials.
