Achieve Atlanta Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Achieve Atlanta
Overview
The Achieve Atlanta Scholarship provides financial assistance based on demonstrated need to students of Atlanta Public Schools who plan to continue with postsecondary education or training after high school. Submitting an application is the initial step to be considered for this award.
Application basics
- Time to complete: about 15–30 minutes.
- Important: once you start the online application you must finish every section and submit in the same session. Leaving the application before submission will reset it and you will need to start over.
Financial aid documentation
- Completion of the FAFSA is required to apply. After you file the FAFSA, you should receive a FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) as a PDF within 1–5 days; the FSS includes your Student Aid Index (SAI). If you have not yet filed, go to fafsa.gov and complete the FAFSA before beginning the Achieve Atlanta application.
- If you are not eligible for federal financial aid, an alternative financial information form is available for the Achieve Atlanta Scholarship. Call 404-880-3500 and choose option 1 for details.
Need-to-know before you begin
1. Submit the FAFSA and obtain your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) showing your SAI.
2. Know your current high school GPA. If you don’t know your GPA, speak with your counselor before starting the application.
If you need assistance filling out the FAFSA, contact your school counselor or college adviser, or reach out to Achieve Atlanta for help.
Deadlines
- Final application deadline: June 1, 2026.
- To be listed at your graduation as an Achieve Atlanta Scholarship recipient, submit your application by April 15, 2026.
