Enid Hall Griswold Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Daughters of the American Revolution
The Enid Hall Griswold Memorial Scholarship is a one-time financial award of $5,000, granted to two deserving college juniors or seniors studying at an accredited U.S. college or university. The students must be majoring in political science, history, government, or economics.
Eligibility requirements for all scholarship applicants include:
- Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship.
- Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited U.S. college or university.
- All scholarships that are renewable for up to four years must be for consecutive years of study.
- Awards are granted based on academic achievement, dedication to the chosen field of study, financial need, or other specific scholarship restrictions.
- Awards are deposited with the recipient’s educational institution and any unused funds are returned to the DAR.
- Applicants can only receive one national scholarship from the DAR Scholarship Committee.
The DAR Scholarship Committee Utilizes an Online Application System
The DAR is excited to inform that all scholarship applications will now be submitted through the online application portal provided by the DAR Scholarship Committee. Applications sent via email or post will not be accepted, with the exception of those for the Margaret Howard Hamilton Scholarship.
The scholarship application portal is currently closed. The application process is conducted entirely online via the DAR Academic Works Portal. The portal will be open for the upcoming year from November 1 through January 31, closing at 11:59 pm (Hawaii Time).
